As I have mentioned previously I have joined the Midnight Mystery Quilt A Long with Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs. It runs from June 2015 to March 2016 with tasks set each month.
Having ordered and received my fabric in June, July’s task was the cutting instructions. This was announced on the 2nd of July and it’s taken me just over two weeks to start! However, I have now finished procrastinating (great word!) and spent this weekend (on and off) cutting all 250 pieces…
I don’t know what I was worried about it was all pretty straight forward, I think it was just cutting into all that lovely fabric!
Anyway I have a couple of weeks now before the next task. I haven’t seen the finished quilt so I can’t wait to start piecing it and start seeing it all come together.
These look lovely! I was going to buy fabric for this when I was shopping this week, and totally forgot to bring the requirements with me. How stupid was that!

Mystery quilts are quite exciting! I've never done one as I can't stick to a BOM or QAL to save my life! Well done on getting all of that tedious cutting done!

I am in the mystery challenge too, and your fabrics go together so well. Waiting to see the geese and blocks.
